About the Role

We are looking for a skilled and hands-on Service Engineer to join our technical and operations team. The candidate will be responsible for installation, servicing, troubleshooting, maintenance, and repair of electric vehicles, their electrical/electronic components, and related equipment.

Key Responsibilities

- Perform regular servicing, preventive maintenance, and repairs of electric vehicles and related equipment.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical, electronic, mechanical, and battery-related issues.
- Inspect vehicles/components to identify faults and determine appropriate corrective actions.
- Handle installation, testing, commissioning, and replacement of technical components.
- Maintain service records, repair reports, and maintenance logs.
- Coordinate with the Operations team to ensure vehicles are available and in proper working condition.
- Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance to minimize breakdowns.
- Handle on-site breakdowns and provide timely technical support.
- Test repaired vehicles and components to ensure proper functioning and safety.
- Maintain an inventory of spare parts, tools, and service equipment.
- Coordinate with vendors and external service partners whenever required.
- Follow safety procedures and ensure compliance with company standards.




- Provide technical feedback to the product/engineering team regarding recurring issues and possible improvements.

Required Skills & Qualifications
- Diploma/B.E./B.Tech in Electrical, Electronics, Mechanical, Automobile, or a related field.
- 6 months-1 years of experience in service, maintenance, automobile, EV, or related technical roles.
- Good knowledge of electrical and electronic systems.
- Basic understanding of EV components such as batteries, motors, controllers, wiring, BMS, and chargers.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to use basic diagnostic tools and equipment.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as with a team.
- Willingness to travel for field/service requirements.

Preferred Skills
- Experience working with electric vehicles/e-bikes.
- Knowledge of lithium-ion battery systems and EV charging systems.
- Basic knowledge of CAN communication and electrical diagnostics.
- Experience with preventive maintenance and breakdown management.
