Role Description The Senior Teacher is responsible for leading a classroom of early learners, planning and delivering age-appropriate lessons, and ensuring a safe, engaging learning environment. Day-to-day tasks include developing and implementing lesson plans, conducting interactive learning activities, assessing student progress, and maintaining clear communication with parents and guardians. The role involves mentoring and guiding junior teachers and support staff, coordinating classroom routines, and contributing to overall curriculum improvement.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong Teaching and Education skills, with experience in early childhood or primary education.
- Candidates should possess effective Lesson Planning and Training abilities to design and deliver structured, engaging learning experiences.
- Candidates should possess excellent Communication skills to interact with children, families, and colleagues in a clear and professional manner.
- Formal qualifications in Education, Early Childhood Education, or a related field; a bachelor’s degree or equivalent is preferred.
- Proven experience as a preschool or primary school teacher, ideally in a senior or lead teacher capacity.
- Strong classroom management skills, patience, and a child-centered approach to teaching and care.
- Ability to collaborate with teaching teams, participate in school events, and support continuous improvement of teaching practices.
