- Key Responsibilities
- Develop and manage vendors for Fabrication, Machining, Welding, Sheet Metal and Assembly.
- Handle end-to-end vendor management including Sourcing, RFQ, Technical Evaluation, Negotiation and Vendor Onboarding.
- Ensure supplier performance as per engineering drawings, specifications, quality standards and delivery schedules.
- Conduct supplier audits, capability assessments and performance reviews.
- Drive cost reduction, value engineering and localization initiatives.
- Monitor supplier capacity and manage risks related to critical vendors.
- Coordinate with Design, Production, Quality, Planning and Procurement teams.
- Review Engineering Drawings, BOM and GD&T; and provide technical guidance to vendors.
- Resolve supplier-related technical, quality and delivery issues.
- Drive continuous improvement and supplier development activities.
