Shopify/Gorgias Customer Support Representative (Remote, India)

Every online store lives or dies by how it treats the person on the other end of the chat. At TalentPop App, we're building our own customer support team — one that knows Shopify and Gorgias inside out and uses that knowledge to turn a simple question into a great customer experience.

We're hiring a Shopify/Gorgias Customer Support Representative to join our fully remote, full-time team — someone who wants real hands-on experience with tools that matter, working with a growing global brand.

The basics:

Pay: Paid in USD, hourly — your income holds its value, no matter what's happening with local exchange rates

Fully remote, permanent — based in India. Open also to candidates from the Philippines, South Africa, and Jamaica

What You'll Do

- Respond to customer inquiries through email, live chat, phone, and/or social media — promptly and professionally
- Assist customers with order questions, shipping updates, product information, and returns, using Shopify and Gorgias as your core tools
- Deliver consistent, high-quality responses that reflect our service standards
- Identify what a customer actually needs and provide thoughtful, solutions-first support
- Escalate complex issues to the right internal team when needed

What We're Looking For

- Solid written and verbal English




- At least 1 year of remote or online customer service experience
- Hands-on familiarity with Shopify and Gorgias (or similar tools like Zendesk) — a strong advantage, and a skill we'll help you build further
- Sharp problem-solving skills and a customer-first mindset
- Reliable, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing multiple conversations at once
- Self-motivated and confident working independently in a remote setup

Technical Requirements

- A personally owned PC or laptop (borrowed equipment not accepted)
- Minimum 25 Mbps upload and download speed
- A dedicated, quiet workspace
- A backup internet connection (ISP backup required)
- Additional device specifications confirmed during the hiring process
