Role Description The Articled Assistant will support audit, accounting, and tax assignments under the supervision of qualified professionals in the Greater Surat Area. Day-to-day responsibilities may include preparing and reviewing working papers, assisting in statutory and tax audits, posting and reconciling accounting entries, and supporting the preparation of financial statements and tax returns.

following regulatory and firm-specific procedures, and coordinating with clients to obtain necessary information.

Qualifications

- Currently pursuing or eligible for articleship under the Chartered Accountants program (e.g., CA Intermediate cleared or as per regulatory requirements).

- Foundational knowledge of accounting principles, auditing standards, and direct and indirect taxation.

- Ability to work accurately with financial data, including ledger posting, reconciliations, and basic financial statement preparation.

- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word) and willingness to learn accounting and audit software commonly used in CA practices.
