SAP MDG Technical Senior Analyst with strong hands-on expertise in
SAP Master Data Governance (MDG), ABAP and MDG technical development/configuration . The candidate will be responsible for developing and configuring MDG solutions, supporting implementation and migration projects, troubleshooting technical issues, and translating business requirements into scalable technical solutions.
Key Responsibilities Design and develop enhancements for
SAP MDG applications . Configure and develop MDG solutions based on business requirements. Work on
Data Modelling, UI Modelling and Process Modelling . Configure
Change Requests , process steps and workflows. Develop and support data replication using
ALE/IDocs and related techniques. Troubleshoot MDG errors and technical issues. Develop solution prototypes when required. Review, test and validate technical developments. Provide
L2/L3 technical support for SAP MDG applications. Translate business requirements into detailed technical specifications. Support
UAT, go-live and post-go-live activities. Work on master-data domains including
Material, Customer, Vendor, GL, Profit Center, Cost Center and BOM . Support
S/4HANA migration and related MDG activities. Provide technical guidance on SAP MDG capabilities.
Mandatory Technical Skills SAP MDG
– Configuration, Data Modelling, UI Modelling and Process Modelling. Change Request configuration and workflow/process-step definition. ALE / IDocs and data replication. MDG error handling and troubleshooting. ABAP / ABAP Reporting . ABAP OOP . BADI Implementations . BRF+ . SAP Workflow . FPM (Floorplan Manager) . Web Dynpro . SAP NetWeaver . Web Services. LSMW / SAP Migration Tools . SAP MDG implementation experience.
Candidate Requirements B.E. degree . 5–7 years of overall SAP experience. 4+ years of relevant SAP MDG experience . Hands-on experience in
SAP MDG implementation projects . Experience with one or more MDG master-data domains. Experience supporting
UAT and go-live . Knowledge of
S/4HANA migration projects . Ability to convert business requirements into technical specifications. Solid analytical, problem-solving and communication skills. Ability to work with business and technical stakeholders.
Preferred Experience across multiple MDG master-data domains. MDG technical architecture and solution prototyping. L2/L3 production support experience. Exposure to large-scale SAP transformation programs.
