As a Senior Road Engineer, you will help bridge the gap between conventional road and pavement engineering and next-generation AI-driven infrastructure technology. You will contribute to road assessment methodologies, validate engineering outputs, lead projects, and help build technology that can operate at scale across large road networks.

Role Overview

We are looking for a technically strong and experienced road engineering professional to lead road survey, inspection, assessment, and engineering projects.

The role involves working closely with Product, AI, Data, and Engineering teams to translate practical road engineering expertise into technology-driven solutions for pavement management, road asset management, road safety, and infrastructure optimization.

The ideal candidate should be comfortable taking ownership of engineering projects, analysing road and pavement data, working with multidisciplinary teams, and converting engineering requirements into practical technology solutions.

Key Responsibilities 1. Project & Survey Leadership

- Lead road survey, inspection, and assessment projects from planning through execution.
- Oversee field data collection, quality control, technical validation, and project delivery.
- Ensure project outputs meet defined engineering, quality, and timeline requirements.
- Identify and resolve technical issues during project execution.

1. Road & Pavement Engineering

- Conduct pavement condition and road network assessments.
- Analyse pavement defects, road distress, traffic conditions, and other road infrastructure parameters.
- Apply relevant road, pavement, highway,



and road safety engineering principles to project assessments.
- Develop technically sound recommendations for maintenance, rehabilitation, and infrastructure improvement.

1. AI & Technology Integration

- Work closely with AI, Product, and Engineering teams to incorporate road engineering knowledge into AI/ML-based solutions.
- Validate and improve AI-generated road and pavement assessment outputs.
- Support the development of engineering methodologies, rules, and assessment frameworks for AI-driven road inspection.
- Translate engineering requirements into practical product and technology solutions.

1. Research & Innovation

- Contribute to research and development in pavement engineering, intelligent transportation systems, computer vision, GIS, and AI-driven infrastructure assessment.
- Identify opportunities to improve road assessment methodologies and existing technology solutions.
- Use field observations and engineering knowledge to identify gaps and improve AI model performance.

1. Stakeholder & Client Coordination

- Coordinate with clients, government authorities, consultants, contractors, and internal teams.
- Participate in technical discussions, project reviews, site visits, and client meetings.
- Present engineering findings, project updates, and recommendations clearly.
- Understand client requirements and translate them into actionable technical requirements for internal teams.

1. Team Leadership & Mentorship

- Guide and mentor junior engineers, interns, and data annotation teams.
- Establish and maintain standards for road defect identification, data annotation, engineering validation, and reporting.
- Review technical work and ensure consistency and accuracy across project teams.
- Develop technical guidelines, workflows, and best practices.

1. Technical Documentation & Representation

- Prepare technical reports, project proposals, presentations, assessment methodologies, and engineering documentation.
- Represent RoadVision AI in technical meetings, site visits,



client discussions, and relevant industry interactions.
- Communicate technical concepts and engineering findings effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Preferred Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Civil Engineering, Transportation Engineering, Highway Engineering, Pavement Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Strong practical understanding of pavement engineering, road assessment, highway engineering, and road safety.
- Experience in road surveys, pavement condition assessment, highway projects, GIS, transportation projects, or road asset management.
- Ability to analyse engineering data and translate observations into practical recommendations.
- Interest or experience in working with AI, Computer Vision, GIS, or data-driven engineering solutions.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and project-management skills.
- Ability to work effectively with multidisciplinary teams.
- Prior experience leading engineering projects or teams will be an advantage.

Location New Delhi - Bhikaji Cama Place

This is an in-office role, with travel to project sites and client locations as required.
