Job Purpose: The QA Engineer owns the quality of Medha AI healthcare data and analytics products end-to-end defining test strategy, driving manual and automated testing across all levels (system, API, integration, regression, security, performance, release), and ensuring every release meets defined quality gates before sign-off. The role combines hands-on testing and SQL/automation skills with team leadership, estimation, KPI tracking, and stakeholder management to build a mature, scalable QA practice.

Role & Responsibilities

- Define, create and execute test cases for manual and automated execution.
- Define, create and execute test cases for different levels and stages (system, API,



integration, regression, security, performance, release).
- Translate functional and non-functional requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria into test cases.
- Use the Test Management tool (ADO) to ensure traceability of all testing-related activities and results via standard workflow.
- Maintain high hygiene in testing activities and processes throughout the STLC.
- Constantly increase the level of test automation and related processes where possible and beneficial.
- Own test estimation — based on scope and complexity, estimate and plan the need for test engineers.
- Define test strategy in line with release plan and test coverage goals.
- Review test cases and results produced by the team.
- Derive and monitor testing KPIs.
- Verify and sign off on all quality gates and releases, confirming a release may proceed only when quality criteria are met.
- Plan and organize training for test engineers.
- Create and implement a solution for automated test result import into ADO.
- Manage stakeholders across the release lifecycle.

Preferred Qualifications:

Must Have:

- Database testing experience with the ability to write complex SQL queries.
- Programming knowledge that can support automation.
- 5 to 7 years of relevant QA/testing experience.

Valuable to Have:

- Knowledge of the healthcare domain.
- Agent-developing skills to ease QA activities.
- Experience testing chatbots / conversational AI.
- Knowledge of performance automation.
- Exposure to CI/CD pipelines.

Education:

- BE/BTech in Computer Science or a related technical discipline, or equivalent.
