Senior Project Manager – Enterprise Programs

Location: Bengaluru, India | Full-time, Work from Office

Experience: 8+ years in Project / Program Management

Shift Requirement: Minimum 4+ hours overlap with U.S. business hours, approximately 6:00 PM–10:30 PM IST

We are looking for an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead a complex enterprise data-retention and regulatory program within a highly regulated financial-services environment.

This is a pure-play Project Management role for someone who has built their career managing large, cross-functional technology programs within enterprise organizations.

The ideal candidate will bring strong ownership, planning discipline, stakeholder management, governance, risk management, and the ability to independently drive teams toward committed outcomes.

About the Project The program is focused on implementing a solution to retain, govern, migrate, and retrieve data and documents required to support:

- Regulatory retention requirements governing the Credit Cards business
- Privacy policies
- Litigation and legal holds
- Regulatory and audit inquiries
- Account documentation requirements
- Enterprise data-retention obligations

The Project Manager will coordinate across Engineering, Risk, Compliance, Legal, Operations, Product, Data teams, and external vendors to ensure the program is delivered successfully.

Key Responsibilities

- Own end-to-end project planning, execution, tracking, and delivery
- Build and maintain detailed project plans, milestones, dependencies, deliverables, and target dates
- Drive multiple cross-functional workstreams across Engineering, Risk, Compliance, Legal, Operations, Product, and Data
- Facilitate daily and weekly delivery meetings, Scrum ceremonies, stakeholder reviews, and project checkpoints
- Proactively identify and manage risks, issues, assumptions, and dependencies
- Maintain strong RAID, action, decision, and dependency tracking
- Resolve blockers and drive teams toward agreed commitments
- Coordinate data sourcing, migration, validation, and implementation activities with Engineering teams and vendors
- Track regulatory and data-retention deliverables through completion




- Prepare and manage governance and Steering Committee meetings
- Provide clear and transparent project-status reporting
- Create concise executive-level PowerPoint presentations and status updates
- Independently communicate and negotiate with senior stakeholders, including SVPs, Managing Directors, and senior technology and business leaders
- Manage competing priorities, delivery risks, resource constraints, and timeline negotiations
- Ensure robust documentation discipline using JIRA, Confluence, Excel, and PowerPoint

What We Are Looking For

- 8+ years of dedicated Project / Program Management experience
- Project Management should be the candidate's primary career discipline
- Experience managing complex technology, data, transformation, or regulatory programs within large enterprise organizations
- Strong experience working with cross-functional and globally distributed teams
- Proven ability to independently own and drive major deliverables
- Strong project planning, scheduling, and organizational skills
- Excellent risk, issue, dependency, and escalation-management discipline
- Strong stakeholder-management and executive-communication skills
- Experience working directly with senior leaders at SVP / MD level
- Strong negotiation, follow-through, and problem-solving skills
- Excellent PowerPoint, Excel, JIRA, and Confluence skills
- Strong understanding of Agile and Scrum methodologies
- Ability to work effectively with Engineering, Product, Risk, Compliance, and Data teams
- Willingness to work full-time from the Bengaluru office
- Ability to support at least 4+ hours of U.S. business-hours overlap

Technology Exposure This is not a hands-on engineering role .

However, candidates should be comfortable managing projects involving enterprise data and technology platforms.





The expectation is to understand technical conversations, identify risks and dependencies, challenge delivery timelines where required, ask the right questions, and drive Engineering and Data teams toward agreed outcomes.

Exposure to enterprise data platforms, data migrations, data retention, regulatory technology programs, or cloud-based environments is beneficial.

Important Profile Requirement

We are specifically looking for candidates who have built their careers in Project / Program Management .

Profiles primarily focused on QA/Test Management, Business Analysis, Software Development, Data Engineering, or other technical roles with only recent Project Management exposure may not be the right fit for this position .

The ideal career progression would typically include roles such as:

Project Coordinator → Project Manager → Senior Project Manager → Program Manager

Preferred Background

Experience in one or more of the following environments would be highly valuable:

- Credit Cards / Cards / Payments domain experience is strongly preferred
- Experience managing projects involving credit-card lifecycle, servicing, transaction data, account data, regulatory retention, or related banking platforms
- Global banks
- Financial-services organizations
- Banking and payments organizations
- Fortune 500 enterprises
- Large technology organizations
- Highly regulated industries
- Enterprise consulting organizations

Candidates with prior exposure to credit-card regulatory, data-retention, compliance, operations, servicing, or technology-transformation programs will have a strong advantage.
