Role Summary We are looking for a Procurement & Supply Chain professional to own end-to-end sourcing, vendor management, inventory planning, and logistics for a fast-growing, multi-plant manufacturing business. This role will be central to cost control, supply continuity, and operational readiness as we scale toward IPO.

Key Responsibilities

Procurement &

• Sourcing Source and negotiate for raw materials (resins/polymers, packaging inputs), machinery/spares, and indirect materials Build and manage a vendor base across domestic and international suppliers; run RFQ/tender processes Track commodity price trends (e.g., polymer/resin markets) and time purchases to optimize cost Negotiate supply contracts, payment terms, and long-term rate agreements with key vendors Identify and qualify alternate suppliers/grades to reduce single-source risk Inventory &

- Supply Planning Own raw material and finished goods inventory planning across plants Coordinate with production planning to align procurement with production schedules and demand forecasts Set and monitor inventory norms (safety stock, reorder points) to balance working capital and stock-outs Track vendor lead times and build contingency plans for supply disruptions Logistics &




- Export/Import Operations Manage inbound logistics (domestic and import) and outbound export logistics across international shipping lanes Negotiate freight rates and manage relationships with freight forwarders, carriers, customs brokers, and 3PLs Ensure accurate trade documentation and compliance with relevant customs/tariff requirements Optimize Incoterms and landed-cost structures per contract Vendor &
- Contract Management Manage vendor performance (cost, quality, delivery) via scorecards and periodic reviews Lead contract negotiations and renewals for key suppliers and logistics partners Resolve vendor disputes and manage escalations Cross-Functional Coordination Work closely with production, sales, and finance teams to align procurement and supply plans with business priorities Coordinate with international sales teams on shipment schedules and delivery commitments Support new product/plant ramp-up with procurement and supply chain planning Systems &
- Reporting Maintain procurement, inventory, and logistics data in ERP (Zoho Inventory/Books or equivalent) Build MIS dashboards for procurement spend, inventory turns, vendor performance,



and on-time delivery Support automation initiatives across order management and supply chain workflows Requirements Education Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Operations, Engineering, or related field MBA / PG diploma in Operations, Supply Chain, or International Trade preferred Experience 6–12 years in procurement and supply chain roles, ideally in manufacturing (plastics, packaging, or industrial goods) Experience across the full scope: raw material sourcing, inventory planning, and logistics/export operations Exposure to international/export operations is a solid plus Skills &
- Knowledge Strong negotiation skills across suppliers, carriers, and service providers Working knowledge of Incoterms, international trade documentation, and customs processes Familiarity with commodity/polymer sourcing dynamics is a plus Proficiency in ERP/inventory systems (Zoho preferred); strong Excel skills Analytical mindset — comfortable building cost models and vendor scorecards Attributes Ownership mindset; able to operate independently across sourcing, planning, and logistics Detail-oriented, especially around documentation, compliance, and cost accuracy Strong cross-functional communicator, comfortable coordinating across teams and functions Compensation [To be filled based on internal benchmarking — CTC band, variable component if any] What Success Looks Like (First 6–12 Months) Vendor base consolidated and rate-benchmarked across key material and logistics categories Inventory norms established, reducing both stock-outs and excess working capital Freight/logistics cost as % of landed cost measurably reduced Clean procurement, inventory, and logistics data flowing into ERP for MIS reporting
