Job Title: Pharmacy Manager / Senior Pharmacy Manager

Job Purpose

n

To lead and manage end-to-end hospital pharmacy operations, ensuring regulatory compliance, optimal inventory management, strong revenue performance, and high standards of patient care across OP, IP, OT, and specialty pharmacies.

n

Key Responsibilities

n

1. End-to-End Pharmacy Operations

n

n
- Manage complete pharmacy operations including OP, IP, OT, ICU, Cath Lab, and specialty pharmacies.
n
- Ensure smooth coordination with clinicians, nursing, purchase, and finance teams.
n
- Drive operational excellence, SOP adherence, and patient safety.
n

n

2. Inventory & Stock Management (₹5 Cr+)

n

n
- Oversee inventory worth ₹5 Cr or more , including high-value and critical drugs.
n
- Ensure optimum stock levels, zero stock-outs, expiry control, and near-zero pilferage.
n
- Handle consignment drugs, high-cost implants, and critical care medicines.
n

n

3. Revenue & Sales Management (₹3 Cr+)

n

n
- Drive monthly pharmacy sales of ₹3 Cr+ through optimized prescription capture, availability, and patient retention.
n
- Implement strategies to improve basket size, generic substitution, and chronic medication adherence.
n

n

4. Compliance, Quality & Audits

n

n




- Ensure compliance with Drug Control regulations, NABH standards, and statutory requirements.
n
- Lead internal and external audits and ensure timely license renewals.
n

n

5. Systems & Digital Enablement

n

n
- Strong working knowledge of HIS / Pharmacy Management Systems.
n
- Ensure accurate item master, pricing, batch control, and integration with billing systems.
n

n

6. Team Leadership & Development

n

n
- Lead, train, and mentor pharmacists and pharmacy staff across shifts.
n
- Drive performance management, manpower planning, and succession readiness.
n

n

Mandatory Requirements

- Hands-on exposure to end-to-end hospital pharmacy operations
