About the Role The Dispatch Planning CBS role is pivotal in ensuring the effective and timely dispatch of products to dealers and branches within the CBS division. This position requires a keen analytical mindset and strong coordination skills to manage order processing, vehicle planning, and communication with sales teams. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in optimizing dispatch operations, maximizing vehicle capacity, and ensuring that customer requirements are met promptly.

Key Responsibilities

- Analyze pending orders daily for the allocated zone, area, or branch dealer to create dispatch plans and pick slips in Oracle,



prioritizing based on urgency and material requirements
- Generate dispatch slips that maximize the full volume and weight capacity of outgoing vehicles, ensuring efficient transportation
- Plan regular direct FTL and club deliveries to dealers from the plant, maintaining a streamlined delivery process
- Provide the warehouse team with advance dispatch and vehicle plans on a daily basis to facilitate smooth operations
- Create BT Orders according to Minimum Stock Levels (MSL) and local orders, coordinating closely with regional warehouse planners for material movement and allocation
- Maintain regular communication with sales coordinators to review pending orders item-wise, updating on stock availability and timelines for critical items
- Review "hold" and "un-reviewed" orders consistently with the respective sales coordinator, branch team, and head office team, following up until resolution
- Monitor the daily sales warehouse-wise and product division-wise to ensure accuracy and timely order processing
- Generate various reports as required, providing insights into dispatch operations and order fulfilment
- Track planned versus actual allocation for critical items on a daily basis to identify discrepancies and address issues promptly

Key Attributes





- Proficiency in Oracle or similar ERP systems for order processing and inventory management
- Strong understanding of dispatch and logistics operations, including vehicle planning and capacity utilization
- Familiarity with reporting tools and data analysis techniques to generate actionable insights
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel for data analysis and reporting

Qualifications and Experience

- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Logistics, or a related field
- Experience: 4-6 years of experience in dispatch planning, supply chain management, or logistics, preferably in a manufacturing or distribution environment
- Skills:
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and thoroughness in order processing and reporting
