Fashion Merchandiser – High Fashion Apparel

- Manage the complete merchandising cycle from product development to final shipment.

- Handle costing, sampling, sourcing, and order execution.

- Coordinate with buyers, vendors, suppliers, and production teams.

- Monitor production schedules and ensure orders are completed within timelines.

- Ensure required quality standards are maintained throughout production.

- Track orders and provide regular updates to buyers and management.

- Identify production or order-related issues and resolve them proactively.

- Maintain accurate merchandising documents, order records, and production details.

- Coordinate closely with production teams to ensure on-time delivery.

- Handle buyer requirements and ensure proper execution of orders.

- Support product development and sourcing activities for high-fashion apparel.

Key Responsibilities

Merchandising & Product Development:

- Manage the complete merchandising process from product development to shipment.

- Coordinate sampling, costing, sourcing, and order execution.

- Follow up on samples and ensure timely approvals.

- Ensure products are developed according to buyer specifications and requirements.

Buyer & Vendor Coordination





- Maintain strong working relationships with buyers and vendors.

- Coordinate with suppliers and production teams for smooth order execution.

- Communicate buyer requirements clearly to the concerned teams.

- Negotiate and coordinate with vendors regarding production and sourcing requirements.

Production & Order Management

- Track production progress and order status.

- Monitor quality standards and production timelines.

- Identify delays or issues and take timely corrective action.

- Ensure orders are completed and shipped within the committed timelines.

- Maintain accurate records and merchandising documentation.

Required Skills

- Strong experience in High Fashion Apparel Merchandising.

- Good understanding of garment production and sourcing.

- Solid knowledge of buyer management and order execution.

- Excellent communication and coordination skills.

- Strong negotiation and follow-up abilities.

- Good problem-solving and organizational skills.

- Ability to manage multiple orders and deadlines efficiently.

- 7+ years of relevant experience
