Key Responsibilities
Provide comprehensive ophthalmic consultation, diagnosis and treatment to patients.
Conduct detailed ophthalmic examinations and develop appropriate treatment plans.
Perform ophthalmic procedures and surgeries within the candidate's area of expertise.
Manage both routine and complex ophthalmic cases.
Build and develop a strong referral and patient base in Raipur and the wider Chhattisgarh region.
Work collaboratively with other clinical specialties for multidisciplinary patient care.
Maintain high standards of clinical quality, patient safety and ethical medical practice.
Participate in clinical discussions, CME programmes and departmental academic initiatives.
Contribute to the growth and development of the Ophthalmology department.
Maintain accurate clinical documentation and comply with hospital protocols and regulatory requirements.
Preferred Candidate Profile
MD/MS/DNB/DOMS in Ophthalmology from a recognised institution.
Candidates with 5+ years of post-qualification experience will be preferred; experienced Consultants/Senior Consultants are encouraged to apply.
Strong clinical expertise with exposure to ophthalmic procedures/surgeries.
Candidates with an established patient base or referral network in Raipur/Chhattisgarh would be highly preferred.
Good communication, interpersonal and counselling skills.
Strong commitment to patient-centric care and clinical excellence.
Ability to work effectively in a tertiary-care hospital setting.
