JOB SUMMARY

The Community Manager is the face of the restaurant and is responsible for
coordinating with various stakeholders to drive positive publicity, guest
engagement, and business growth for the outlet. The role works closely with the
F&B; Manager, with a dotted-line reporting relationship to the Marketing Manager
and DOPS, and collaborates with the Marcom team on content creation and agency
coordination, the Outlet Service team for VIP bookings and events, and the
Culinary team to conceptualize recent dining themes and experiences. The Community
Manager is responsible for planning and executing in-house events such as wine
tastings, live music nights, trivia evenings, and chef-led cooking classes, as
well as representing the restaurant at local charity fundraisers, food
festivals, and community events. The role is also responsible for driving group
business from social and corporate segments by pitching experiential dining
opportunities, optimizing guest data collection and table management systems,
and engaging guests to maximize Marriott Bonvoy and other loyalty program




opportunities. The Community Manager should have a strong financial
understanding and be able to prepare pre-P&Ls; for events and monthly summaries
tracking event performance and progress. Additionally, the role involves
monitoring restaurant ratings, social media feedback, and online reviews,
responding to guests in line with company guidelines, and building strong
relationships with guests and the local community to enhance the restaurant’s
reputation, visibility, and overall business performance.

CANDIDATE PROFILE

Education and Experience

• High school diploma or GED; 5 years’ experience in the guest services, front
desk, sales and marketing, or related professional area.
