Job Overview

- To ensure timely and cost-effective procurement of packing materials required for lubricant manufacturing operations across manufacturing and third-party locations through effective sourcing, material planning, supplier coordination, inventory management etc.
- The role is responsible for purchase order processing in SAP, vendor coordination, inventory monitoring, and ensuring uninterrupted material availability to support manufacturing plans.
- Compliance with Sourcing SOPs and IATF requirements.

Key Roles and Responsibilities

- Raise and process Purchase Orders (POs) in SAP for all direct materials including base oil, Additive, Packing material and all other direct materials.
- Create and manage Purchase Orders, Contract Releases, Scheduling Agreements, and related procurement transactions in SAP.
- Ensure accurate documentation of procurement records and maintain data integrity within SAP.
- Track PO acknowledgments, delivery schedules, and GRN (Goods Receipt Note) status
- Procure packaging materials across manufacturing and third-party locations PAN India like HDPE containers, pails, drums, caps, lids, labels, cartons, shrink films, corrugated boxes, and related consumables.
- Monitor packaging material requirements against production schedules and communicate forecasts to suppliers.
- Coordinate with suppliers for timely material deliveries as per production Schedules.




- Inventory Control and smart management of available storage space.
- Monitor packaging material inventory levels, safety stock at plant and supplier locations and ensure inventory levels remain within defined norms.
- Support supplier onboarding, vendor code creation, and item master creation activities.
- Assist in monthly price revisions and procurement documentation.
- Communicate quality rejections and customer complaints to suppliers. Coordinate with QA and follow up for timely closure of supplier quality complaints.

Knowledge, Skills, and Competencies

- 6-8 years of experience in Sourcing, Procurement.
- Experience in Packaging Materials is an advantage.
- Experience in manufacturing, FMCG, lubricants, chemicals, automotive, or process industries preferred.
- Solid SAP MM (Purchase Requisition, Purchase Order, GRN tracking, Vendor Management)
