Job Role Senior Embedded Linux & Firmware Engineer
- Lead the complete software and firmware development for next-generation embedded hardware products.
- Develop, customize, integrate, and maintain embedded software for Linux-based SoC platforms.
- Work with third-party hardware platforms, development boards, vendor SDKs, and BSPs.
- Take ownership of the complete embedded software architecture from prototype through production.
- Collaborate closely with hardware engineers and SoC vendors for product development and debugging.
Key Responsibilities Embedded Linux & Firmware:
- Develop production-ready firmware for Linux-based embedded hardware.
- Customize and integrate vendor-provided SDKs and BSPs.
- Modify Linux Kernel and Device Tree as required.
- Work with U-Boot and bootloaders.
- Develop and integrate device drivers.
- Work with GPIO, I²C, SPI, UART, USB, Ethernet, and other hardware interfaces.
- Optimize system performance, memory usage, and boot time.
Multimedia & Data Processing
- Develop and integrate video and image-processing pipelines.
- Integrate image sensors and multimedia peripherals.
- Implement hardware-accelerated encoding and decoding.
- Work with H.264/H.265 and other multimedia codecs.
- Manage multiple data streams.
- Implement recording, storage, and playback functionality.
- Work with ISP and image-processing frameworks where applicable.
Networking
- Develop and integrate:

- Support remote configuration and diagnostics.
Cloud Connectivity
- Develop device registration and authentication systems.
- Implement device management and remote configuration.
- Develop remote reboot and device monitoring functionality.
- Integrate cloud communication and APIs.
- Implement secure device-to-server communication.
- Support remote diagnostics.
OTA & Firmware Management
- Develop robust OTA firmware update systems.
