Job Profile
Metallurgical sample preparation
Etching (Micro and Macro)
Manage consumables and chemicals
Sample photography using DSLR camera (when required)
Stereo zoom microscopy and observations and image capturing
Audit sample micro analysis under supervision




Hardness testing
Weld penetration and qualification testing
5S + 1 and support for equipment AMC activities
support for chemistry/Polymer group in case of urgent need.
Maintain lab register data in excel
Coordination for material outward and inward activity
Work on Kaizen or incremental improvements in process
Must present 5 days per week in office, as per office timings ( Exempted special holidays and other days at Manager’s discretion)

Desired Qualification:
Diploma in Metallurgy or equivalent with 2 to 3 years of experience in RnD library set up

Desired Skills:
Basic Manufacturing and Metallurgy Knowledge
Hands on experience of metallographic Sample Preparation
Metallography and microscopy
Knowledge of Mechanical testing: Tensile, Hardness, Fatigue impact etc Knowledge about Corrosion, Wear and Tribological Testing would be an added advantage
