Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Staff Nurse role based at Motherhood Hospital in Coimbatore. The Staff Nurse will provide direct patient care to women and children, including monitoring vital signs, administering medications, assisting with procedures, and supporting labour and delivery.



The role involves coordinating with doctors and allied health professionals, updating medical records accurately, and ensuring adherence to clinical protocols and infection control standards. The Staff Nurse will educate patients and families about treatment plans, post-procedure care, and preventive health, while promoting a respectful, secure, and comforting environment. The role also includes participation in quality initiatives, shift handovers, and continuous improvement of nursing practices.
Qualifications

Valid Nursing qualification (GNM or B.Sc Nursing) from a recognized institution and current registration with the relevant Nursing Council.
Clinical skills in adult and paediatric patient care, including monitoring, medication administration, basic emergency response, and documentation.
Exposure to obstetric, labour and delivery, and postnatal care; experience in women’s and child health settings is an advantag
