Role Overview
The Project Agronomist will provide technical and field-level support for sustainable, regenerative agriculture and carbon farming projects. The role will focus on farmer capacity building, technical guidance, field demonstrations, data collection, and effective coordination with Regen Ambassadors to build solid relationships and trust with ICS farmers and support the adoption of regenerative practices.

Key Responsibilities
• Develop and deliver farmer training modules on sustainable and regenerative agriculture, carbon farming, and good agricultural practices.
• Provide technical guidance to farmers on crop management, soil health, water management, natural resource conservation, and regenerative practices.
• Conduct and/or coordinate soil and water analysis and support farmers in interpreting and applying the results.
• Coordinate and provide technical guidance to Regen Ambassadors in day-to-day field activities, including farmer engagement, mapping, data collection, demonstrations, and follow-up on adoption of recommended practices.




• Build strong relationships and trust with ICS farmers and facilitate the adoption and sustained implementation of regenerative practices at farm level.
• Plan, coordinate, and monitor farmer meetings, trainings, field demonstrations, and other capacity-building activities, ensuring proper documentation.
• Monitor carbon farming and regenerative agriculture demonstrations, including activities related to carbon sequestration, and document learnings and results.
• Maintain project records, farmer data, training records, field activity reports, and other documentation as per Beetle Regen's programme standards.
• Support the District Head in planning and conducting internal inspections and ensuring timely completion of corrective actions, where required.
• Provide regular field-level feedback and insights to the Associate Head and District Head to improve programme implementation and farmer adoption.
