About the Role

We are looking for an experienced and result-oriented Senior Counsellor with 8+ years of experience in overseas education counselling. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in counselling students for UK, USA, Australia, Canada, and New Zealand and possess an in-depth understanding of the complete student recruitment and application process.

The candidate will be responsible for guiding students from the initial counselling stage through university selection, application, admission, and visa coordination while ensuring an exceptional student experience.

Key Responsibilities

- Provide one-on-one counselling to students aspiring to study in the UK, USA, Australia, Canada, and New Zealand.
- Understand students' academic backgrounds, career goals, financial considerations, and preferences to recommend suitable study destinations, courses, and institutions.
- Have strong knowledge of universities, colleges, courses, entry requirements, intakes, scholarships, and admission processes across the assigned countries.
- Handle the complete counselling journey from lead conversion to application and admission.
- Evaluate student profiles and suggest appropriate universities and courses based on eligibility and career objectives.
- Assist students with application documentation, SOP/LOR requirements, offer letters, and admission formalities.
- Coordinate with internal application and visa teams to ensure smooth processing.
- Maintain regular follow-ups with prospective and existing students.
- Achieve individual and team counselling, application, admission, and conversion targets.
- Stay updated with changes in university requirements, admission policies, scholarships, visa regulations, and immigration guidelines.




- Build strong relationships with students, parents, and university representatives.
- Handle parent/student queries professionally and provide accurate guidance throughout the process.
- Maintain accurate records of student interactions and application status in the CRM.
- Support and mentor junior counsellors by sharing industry knowledge and best practices.

Required Skills & Qualifications
- 8+ years of relevant experience in overseas education counselling.
- Proven counselling experience for UK, USA, Australia, Canada & New Zealand.
- Strong understanding of international education systems and university admission processes.
- Excellent knowledge of courses, universities, intakes, eligibility criteria, and application procedures.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, counselling, and negotiation skills.
- Excellent student relationship management and follow-up skills.
- Target-oriented with a proven track record of achieving counselling/admission targets.
- Ability to handle multiple student profiles simultaneously.
- Solid problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Good command of English communication – verbal and written.
- Experience with CRM or student management systems will be an advantage.

- Candidates with strong exposure to multiple destinations — UK, USA, Australia, Canada & New Zealand — will be given preference.

Pay: ₹50,000.00 - ₹65,000.00 per month
