The Senior Consultant Data Migration will lead the end-to-end data migration workstream for SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud implementations. The role requires strong hands-on expertise with SAP migration tools such as SAP S/4HANA Migration Cockpit and Crystal Bridge, along with deep knowledge of SAP master and transactional data. The consultant will define migration strategy, governance, reconciliation rules, mock load cycles, and cutover controls, ensuring data quality and business ownership.

They will document and implement a standardized, fit-to-standard migration approach, drive data profiling and validation, and align migration with testing and ALM processes (e.g., SAP Cloud ALM). Solid stakeholder management, strategy documentation, and execution capability are critical to ensure successful go-live and scalable delivery models.

Must Have:

- Proven experience leading the data migration workstream on at least three endtoend SAP implementations.
- Strong handson expertise with SAP data migration tools (e.g. S/4 Migration Cockpit, CrystalBridge) and approaches (e.g. fittostandard data scoping, iterative mock loads, reconciliation, and businessled data readiness).
- 6+ years’ experience delivering data migration for enterprise SAP programmes, with recent handson experience on SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud.
- Demonstrated ability to define and enforce data migration governance including standards, templates, reconciliation rules, and cutover controls.
- Deep understanding of SAP master data and transactional data principles.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
- Ability to work autonomously whilst leading and supporting others.

Nice to Have

- Certification in any ETL tools or approaches (e.g. Informatica, BODS, ADM, Syniti).




- Experience building or scaling a repeatable delivery model or factory for SAP enterprise estates.
- Experience integrating data migration activities with test management and ALM tooling (e.g. SAP Cloud ALM).
- Experience working in regulated industries (insurance, financial services, aerospace, pharma, etc.).
- Understanding of ABAP, ABAP artifacts and ABAP development skills.

Day-To-Day:

- SAP Data workstream leadership and planning.
- Perform functional consulting activities in advisory & implementation projects with a focus on Data Migration and Data Quality.
- Assess technical landscape, source systems, applications & technical artifacts, and recommend Strategy for Data Migration & Data Quality Improvement.
- Contribute to the development of the migration rules, documenting these rules, developing user test cases for migration test runs, testing the rules during the migration runs.
- Support the business in all questions related to migration; of analyzing and preparing the data, in extracting the data, in transforming the data, in validation of the migration, in verifying data in the target system.
- Analyse legacy systems and current data structures to assess migration requirements and identify potential challenges.
- Define data quality standards, validation rules, and governance frameworks to ensure data integrity post-migration.
- Design and implement data transformation rules,



ensuring data integrity and execute data migration strategies, including ETL processes, validation, and reconciliation.
- Analyse existing business processes, identify areas for improvement, and define data-related process workflows.
- Develop functional specifications and ensure they align with technical solutions. Provide clear requirements to technical teams.

- Analyse complex data sets and design effective transformation rules.

Roles & Responsibilities

- Lead the endtoend data migration workstream for SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud and other implementations, from data readiness through mock loads, cutover, and golive.
- Define and execute a standardised, SAPaligned Public Cloud data migration approach, ensuring fittostandard, clean core, and appropriate data scope decisions.
- Establish and enforce data migration governance, including standards, templates, reconciliation rules, quality criteria, and cutover controls.
- Design and build reusable data migration assets and accelerators to support a scalable and repeatable Public Cloud delivery model.
- Drive data profiling, cleansing, validation, and reconciliation activities in collaboration with business and functional teams.
- Plan and manage migration cycles, mock runs, and dress rehearsals, ensuring readiness for testing and release milestones.
- Engage, influence and support client stakeholders to ensure business ownership of data quality and migration decisions.
- Stay current with the latest SAP Data tools and best practices and delivery thought-leadership pieces, like blogs, whitepaper etc.
