Role: Senior Business Analyst (SQL + Product Analytics + Data Science Exposure)

Client: Leading E-commerce Organization

Type: Full-time (Client-embedded role)

Key Responsibilities

1. Business & Product Analytics

· Translate ambiguous business problems into structured analytical frameworks

· Define and track product/business KPIs (conversion, retention, funnel metrics, etc.)

· Perform deep-dive analysis on user behaviour, product performance, and business trends

· Partner with product, business, and tech teams to drive data-backed decisions

2. Data Analysis & Problem Solving

· Identify relevant datasets and ensure data quality and integrity

· Perform exploratory data analysis (EDA) to uncover trends and insights

· Deliver actionable recommendations based on data

· Drive process improvements using analytical findings

3. SQL & Data Handling (Strong Mandatory)

· Write optimized SQL queries involving:

o Complex joins, subqueries, CTEs, window functions o Aggregations, filtering (WHERE vs HAVING), and grouping

· Understand table relationships (1:1, 1:M, M:M) and data models (fact/dimension tables)

· Perform query optimization, indexing, and performance tuning

· Work with large-scale datasets across multiple sources

4. Statistics & Advanced Analytics

· Apply statistical concepts such as:

o Hypothesis testing (t-test, z-test)

o Correlation, regression, and trend analysis





· Use data to validate assumptions and support decision-making

· Exposure to forecasting, experimentation (A/B testing), or predictive analysis

5. Data Science / AI Exposure (Mandatory)

· Working knowledge or exposure to:

o Machine Learning models or predictive analytics o Python (Pandas, NumPy, or similar)

o AI/Agentic workflows, automation, or advanced analytics use cases

· Ability to leverage these techniques to solve business problems is highly preferred

Required Skills

· Strong SQL expertise (must-have, hands-on)

· Robust analytical and problem-solving ability

· Product analytics mindset (funnels, KPIs, user behaviour)

· Working knowledge of statistics

· Experience with BI tools (Power BI/Tableau)

· Good communication and stakeholder management skills

Good to Have

· Experience in e-commerce or product-based companies

· Exposure to data science, ML models, or AI-based solutions

· Experience with experimentation frameworks or growth analytics

Experience

· 3+ years in Business Analytics / Data Analytics / Product Analytics

· Hands-on experience in DS or Agentic AI, SQL, data analysis, and stakeholder-facing roles

Pay: Up to ₹1,100,000.00 per year
