Job Summary:

The Senior Associate/AVP, Strategy & Planning, drives DBS India's strategic initiatives. This role focuses on monitoring and executing the India strategy, providing key market insights, and preparing CEO submissions. The ideal candidate is analytical, data-driven, and possesses strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with a focus on execution and strategic tool development.

Key Responsibilities:

- Monitoring & Execution of India Strategy
- Strategy Paper Development: Prepare comprehensive strategy papers on selected products and businesses, presenting insightful market and competitive analyses to senior management.
- Strategy Review and Implementation: Continuously review and refine the India strategy in response to evolving market conditions, and actively monitor its implementation.
- Market & Data Insights:
- Develop and maintain a robust database of macroeconomic and RBI data on a periodic basis.
- Maintain and update peer bank data using annual reports, investor presentations, and other relevant research reports within the BFSI industry.
- Generate and provide relevant insights from data analysis to support board and other senior management meetings.
- End-to-End Preparation of CEO Submissions for Review Meetings
- Board Meetings: Prepare the board meeting deck for CEO presentations, coordinating with unit representatives to collate and streamline unit-wise presentations and submissions.
- CEO Presentations: Prepare comprehensive decks for CEO presentations,



coordinating with unit representatives to collate and streamline unit-wise presentations and submissions based on established guidelines.
- Regulatory Presentations: Prepare CEO decks for regulatory presentations, coordinating with respective business and support units to ensure accurate and complete submissions to regulators.
- Strategic Tool Development and Monitoring
- Assist in developing tools for tracking investments, valuation, and monitoring governance.
- Assist in developing forecasting tools to assess business performance and identify key focus areas.

Experience & Skills Required and Qualifications:

- Experience: Relevant 5-7 years of experience in managing assignments and projects, demonstrating increasing levels of responsibility.
- Analytical & Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a proven track record of delivering actionable insights.
- Ownership & Execution: High ownership with a robust execution focus, capable of driving initiatives to completion.
- Stakeholder Management: Proven stakeholder management and influencing skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across various levels of the organization.
- Data-Driven: Ability to leverage data for informed decision-making and strategic recommendations.
- Communication & Presentation: Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex ideas clearly and concisely to senior leadership.
