We are looking for an Academic Counselor to guide prospective students, understand their learning and career goals, explain suitable courses, and support them throughout the admission process.
Key Responsibilities
~Counsel prospective students through calls, walk-ins, and online enquiries.
~Understand students’ academic background, interests, and career goals.
~Explain course structure, duration, fees, learning methodology, and career opportunities.
~Follow up with leads and convert enquiries into admissions through effective communication.
~Maintain accurate records of enquiries, follow-ups, and admissions in CRM or internal systems.
~Address student and parent queries professionally and provide timely assistance.
~Achieve assigned counselling and admission targets while maintaining a positive student experience.
~Participate in seminars, career guidance sessions,
and student engagement activities when required.
~Prepare regular reports on leads, follow-ups, conversions, and admission status.
Requirements
~Positive communication and interpersonal skills.
~Strong counselling and convincing abilities.
~Customer-focused approach with good follow-up skills.
~Basic knowledge of MS Office/Google Workspace and CRM tools.
~Previous experience in academic counselling, admissions, education sales, or customer service is preferred.
~Freshers with robust communication skills may also apply.
