NWe are on the look out for a Architectural Draftsman.
NJob Specifications:

Creating Architectural Drawings, Knowledge of AutoCAD / 2D & 3D drafting. N
Knowledge of Interior Detailing & working on technical drawings & service drawings, GFC drawings, HVAC Drawings, 3D Modelling google SketchUp. N
Produce detailed drawings, include floor plans, elevations & sections. N
Service drawings include, electrical, Plumbing, RCP, ducting layout, lighting loop layout & raceway layout. N
Knowledge of area calculations, FSI calculations, Quantification of material calculations, and to help with material cost estimations. N
Work closely with architects, engineers & other design qualified to translate the design & ensure accurate representations. N
To ensure drawings comply with building codes and regulations. N
Communicate with clients, contractors, to gather information and resolve issues. N
nJob Requirement:

Related field degree / associated degree is preferred. N
Proficiency in CAD Software: AutoCAD, Revit,
or SketchUp are common tools. N
Understanding of Building Codes: Knowledge of local and national building codes is crucial. N
Attention to Detail: Accuracy and precision are essential for creating accurate drawings. N
Communication and Collaboration: Effectively communicating with working teams as it necessary. Collaborating with architects and engineers, and ensuring compliance with building codes and regulations. N
Problem-Solving: They need to be able to address issues that arise during the drafting process. N
Technical Design Skills: A solid understanding of architectural principles and building techniques is vital. N
Can Translates architectural designs into detailed technical drawings and plans for construction. N
Can create floor plans,elevations, and other construction documents, ensuring accuracy and precision. N
