Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced Senior Accountant Accounts & MIS with a strong core accounting background and good analytical skills. The candidate should be comfortable handling accounting independently and preparing meaningful MIS reports for management.

Key Responsibilities

- Handle accounting activities up to finalisation of accounts.
- Perform bank, vendor, customer and ledger reconciliations.
- Manage month-end closing, accruals, provisions, prepayments and fixed assets.
- Prepare and review P&L;, Balance Sheet and supporting schedules.
- Prepare monthly MIS reports, expense analysis and variance reports.
- Analyse financial data and highlight discrepancies or unusual movements.
- Support management with financial reports and ad-hoc analysis.

- Strong core accounting and finalisation knowledge.
- Good understanding of P&L; and Balance Sheet.
- Strong reconciliation and analytical skills.
- Valuable MIS preparation and variance analysis skills.
- Advanced Excel knowledge – Pivot, XLOOKUP/VLOOKUP, SUMIFS and formulas.
- Ability to independently identify and resolve accounting discrepancies.
- Good communication skills and attention to detail.

Qualification M.Com / MBA / CA Inter or equivalent accounting qualification.

Candidates with 4–5 years of hands-on accounting and MIS experience will be preferred.
