About the Role

We are looking for an SEO & GEO Specialist who understands how search is evolving beyond traditional search engines. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience in Technical SEO, content strategy, keyword research, and organic growth, along with an understanding of Generative Engine Optimization (GEO) and how brands can improve their visibility across AI-driven search experiences such as Google AI Overviews, ChatGPT, Gemini, and other generative platforms.

The candidate will be responsible for developing and executing strategies that improve both traditional search visibility and discoverability across AI-generated search results.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop and execute comprehensive SEO and GEO strategies to improve organic visibility and search performance.
- Conduct keyword research, search intent analysis, competitor research, and entity analysis.
- Perform technical SEO audits and identify opportunities to improve website health, crawlability, indexability, and overall search performance.
- Optimize website content, information architecture, internal linking, and metadata for search engines and AI-driven search.
- Develop strategies to improve brand and content visibility within AI-generated search results and summaries.
- Implement and optimize structured data/schema markup to improve search engine understanding of website content.
- Monitor and improve Core Web Vitals, page speed, mobile usability, and other technical SEO factors.
- Work closely with content and marketing teams to develop search-led content strategies aligned with user intent.
- Analyse organic traffic, keyword rankings, search visibility, conversions, and other performance metrics.




- Use data and insights to identify growth opportunities and continuously improve SEO/GEO performance.
- Stay updated with changes in search algorithms, semantic search, AI search, and emerging GEO practices.
- Prepare regular performance reports and communicate actionable insights to internal teams and stakeholders.

What We're Looking For

- 2–3 years of hands-on experience in SEO, Technical SEO, Content SEO, Organic Growth, or a related field.
- Strong understanding of Technical SEO, keyword research and search intent, semantic search and entities, on-page and off-page SEO, content strategy, structured data/schema, Core Web Vitals, and GEO.
- Experience working with Google Search Console, Google Analytics 4 (GA4), Ahrefs, SEMrush, and Screaming Frog.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to turn data into actionable strategies.
- Valuable understanding of how search engines crawl, index, rank, and interpret content.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaborate with content, marketing, and technical teams.

Good to Have

- Hands-on experience with GEO / AI search optimization.
- Experience with tools such as Surfer SEO, Profound, Writesonic, or similar AI/search optimization platforms.
- Understanding of LLM-driven search, AI Overviews, ChatGPT, Gemini, and other generative search experiences.
- Basic understanding of HTML, JavaScript, CMS platforms, and website development.
- Experience in developing or executing entity-based SEO strategies.

Role Focus This role is ideal for someone who doesn't want to work on SEO as just a checklist of keywords and backlinks. The candidate will work at the intersection of SEO, content, data, AI, and emerging search technologies to help brands stay visible as the way people discover information evolves.
