Responsibilities
Cargo Handling
Receive, sort, load and unload cargo
Inspect and verify cargo to prevent damage or loss
Safety Management
Perform duties in accordance with airline and airport safety regulations
Respond to emergencies and report incidents
Work Improvement Proposals
Plan and propose initiatives to improve the efficiency of cargo-handling operations
Research and recommend the introduction of recent methods and technologies
Collaborate with other departments on operational improvements
Cargo Sales
General Sales Activities
Communicate with customers and manage pricing and cargo volumes to support sustainable revenue
Develop solid customer relationships to support sustainable business
Data Analysis
Collect and analyse data on cargo volumes, revenue and market conditions
Prepare reports based on the findings and present them to supervisors
Project Management
Plan, manage and execute current projects
Monitor project progress and provide feedback
Handle general administrative activities
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree or diploma
At least 3 years of relevant experience
Ability to collect and analyse cargo volume, revenue and market data, and prepare reports
Customer communication and relationship management skills
