Role Summary: We are hiring a DCDP for Mezcalita to assist the CDP in running a specific kitchen section, ensuring timely and quality food preparation as per set standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist CDP in the smooth running of the assigned section (e.g., grill, saut, cold kitchen)
Prepare ingredients and dishes as per standard recipes
Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of the section
Ensure proper storage and stock rotation (FIFO)
Coordinate with Commis staff for prep and mise-en-place
Follow food safety and quality standards during service
Report shortages or equipment issues to CDP/Sous Chef
Requirements:
Certificate/Diploma in Culinary Arts preferred
Minimum 2 - 3 years of experience in a similar role
Basic knowledge of kitchen hygiene and food safety practices
Ability to work well under pressure during peak hours
Willingness to work in shifts, including weekends and holidays
