Key Responsibilities:
Audit checklists to assess the correctness of chapter headings, notifications, and compliance for import clearance.
Prepare and manage import documentation, including checklist preparation, checklist submission, and customs declarations as required.
Ensure all documentation complies with international trade regulations and customs requirements.
Coordinate with internal teams and consignees to gather necessary information and ensure accurate documentation.
Verify and validate documentation for accuracy and completeness.
Assist in resolving documentation-related issues and discrepancies.
Stay updated on changes in international trade regulations, notifications, and documentation requirements.
Provide training and support to staff on documentation procedures and best practices.
Preferred candidate profile
Qualifications & Requirements:
Graduate
G Card Holder.
5+ years of proven experience in import documentation.
Robust knowledge of international trade regulations, the Customs Tariff Act 1975, Allied Acts, and documentation requirements.
Solid communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work effectively in a rapid-paced environment.
Proficiency in documentation management software and tools.
