Lead preventive, predictive and breakdown maintenance of plant machinery and equipment.
Ensure maximum uptime and availability of production and packaging equipment.
Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules and SOPs.
Handle maintenance of process equipment, filling/packing machines, pumps, motors, conveyors, compressors, boilers, chillers and other utilities.
Monitor breakdowns, identify root causes and implement corrective and preventive actions.
Maintain MTBF, MTTR, downtime and maintenance cost reports.
Plan and maintain adequate inventory of critical spare parts.
Coordinate with Production, Quality, Projects and other departments for smooth plant operations.
Manage external contractors and service providers for maintenance activities.




Ensure compliance with GMP, safety standards and statutory requirements.
Lead installation, commissioning and modification of recent machinery and equipment.
Drive energy-saving initiatives and reduce maintenance and utility costs.
Maintain maintenance records, equipment history and documentation.
Lead and develop the maintenance team and ensure proper allocation of manpower.
Ensure adherence to safety procedures during maintenance and breakdown activities.Role & responsibilities
