The Location Manager is responsible for identifying, securing, coordinating, and managing locations required for a production or project. The role involves location scouting, negotiating permissions and agreements, coordinating with property owners and local authorities, managing logistics, and ensuring that locations are prepared, protected, and production-ready.
Scout and identify suitable locations based on creative, technical, logistical, and budget requirements.
Conduct location visits and prepare photographs, videos, maps, measurements, and detailed location reports.
Coordinate with property owners, government authorities, local communities, police, and other relevant stakeholders.
Negotiate location fees, usage terms, deposits, and other commercial requirements.
Obtain necessary permissions, licenses, NOCs, and access approvals before production. Role Role & responsibilities
