Job Objective To manage and coordinate all Export & Import activities of the jewellery manufacturing business, ensuring timely documentation, customs compliance, SEZ procedures, shipment coordination, and accurate maintenance of EXIM records.

Key Responsibilities / KRAs

1. Export Documentation & Compliance

- Prepare and verify export documentation including invoices, packing lists, shipping bills, AWB/BL and other required documents.
- Ensure accuracy and timely submission of export documents.
- Coordinate with CHA, courier agencies, freight forwarders and customs authorities.
- Track export shipments until final delivery.

2. SEZ Operations

- Handle day-to-day SEZ-related EXIM activities and documentation.
- Maintain knowledge of SEZ rules, procedures, approvals and compliance requirements.
- Coordinate with SEZ authorities, Customs and other regulatory departments.
- Maintain records related to SEZ transactions, movement of goods and approvals.
- Ensure timely filing and closure of applicable SEZ documentation.

3. Import Activities

- Manage import documentation and coordinate with CHA/freight forwarders.
- Track import shipments and ensure timely clearance.
- Verify import bills, duty-related documents and shipment details.
- Maintain proper records of imported materials, components and jewellery-related goods.

4. Customs & CHA Coordination

- Coordinate with Customs, SEZ authorities and CHA for clearance of import/export shipments.
- Resolve documentation and clearance-related issues.
- Ensure compliance with applicable customs and EXIM procedures.

Shipment & Logistics Coordination

- Coordinate with logistics partners for domestic and international shipments.
- Monitor shipment schedules and ensure timely dispatch.
- Track courier/freight status and maintain shipment records.
- Coordinate with internal departments for shipment readiness.

6. Documentation & Record Management

- Maintain complete and systematic EXIM files and records.
- Ensure proper documentation for audits and inspections.
- Maintain MIS reports for export/import transactions.
- Keep track of pending documents, shipments and compliance requirements.

7. Jewellery Industry Compliance

- Understand export/import procedures applicable to jewellery manufacturing and trading.
- Coordinate with relevant departments for movement of gold, jewellery, samples and other materials as applicable.
- Ensure proper documentation for movement and export of jewellery goods.

Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of SEZ procedures and regulations.
- Positive knowledge of Export & Import documentation.
- Knowledge of Customs and CHA processes.
- Good knowledge of MS Excel and MS Office.
