- We are looking for a skilled and motivated Maintenance Electrician to join the electrical maintenance team. The candidate will be responsible for preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance of electrical equipment, machinery, production lines, and industrial electrical systems while ensuring safety, reliability, and minimum machine downtime.

Key Responsibilities

Electrical Maintenance

- Carry out preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance of electrical equipment and machinery.

- Perform electrical maintenance of manufacturing machines and production lines.

- Troubleshoot and repair electrical faults in production machines and utility equipment.

- Conduct regular inspections to identify potential electrical failures and safety hazards.

- Ensure maintenance activities are completed safely and within the required time.

Equipment Installation & Repair

- Install, maintain, and repair motors, starters, control panels, MCC panels, distribution boards, transformers, and electrical wiring.

- Diagnose and resolve issues related to contactors, relays, overloads, sensors, switches, VFDs, and control circuits.

- Assist in the installation and commissioning of current electrical equipment and machinery.

- Support troubleshooting of PLC-controlled machines and industrial automation systems.

Testing & Troubleshooting

- Check electrical parameters such as voltage, current, insulation resistance, and continuity using appropriate testing instruments.

- Read and interpret electrical drawings, wiring diagrams, and circuit diagrams.

- Identify electrical faults and take appropriate corrective action to restore equipment operation.

Documentation & Coordination

- Maintain records of preventive maintenance, breakdowns, repairs, and spare parts used.





- Coordinate with production and mechanical maintenance teams to minimize machine downtime.

- Support energy-saving initiatives and identify opportunities to improve equipment reliability.

Safety & Workplace Practices

- Follow electrical safety procedures and company safety standards.

- Ensure compliance with LOTO (Lockout/Tagout) procedures and PPE requirements.

- Maintain proper housekeeping and follow 5S practices in the maintenance area.

- Ensure all maintenance work is performed in accordance with required safety procedures.

Education

Job Requirements

- ITI in Electrical / Electrical & Electronics Maintenance.

Technical Skills

- Electrical equipment and machinery maintenance.

- Preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance.

- Motors, starters, control panels, MCC panels, and distribution boards.

- Transformers and industrial electrical wiring.

- Contactors, relays, overloads, sensors, switches, and VFDs.

- Basic knowledge of PLC-controlled machines and industrial automation.

- Electrical drawings, wiring diagrams, and circuit diagrams.

- Electrical testing instruments and measurement of voltage, current, insulation resistance, and continuity.

- Knowledge of LOTO, PPE, electrical safety, and 5S practices.
