We are looking for an experienced Mainframe L2 Production Support professional with 4+ years of hands-on experience in supporting and troubleshooting Mainframe applications in a production environment.
The ideal candidate should have strong technical knowledge of COBOL, JCL, VSAM and DB2, along with experience in production monitoring, incident management, deployment/package management and file handling.

Key Responsibilities
- Provide L2 production support for Mainframe applications.
- Troubleshoot complex production issues and identify root causes.
- Analyze application failures and implement appropriate fixes.
- Monitor production applications, jobs and processes.
- Handle escalated incidents that cannot be resolved by L1 support.
- Perform incident management and provide regular status updates.
- Work on break/fix issues, configuration issues and application-related problems.
- Support package management and deployments using Changeman / Endevor.
- Manage and analyze production files using FileAid / FileManager / FileMaster.
- Monitor production jobs using SAR.
- Support and troubleshoot SFTP jobs and file transfers between systems.
- Identify opportunities for performance optimization and operational improvements.
- Maintain technical documentation, incident records and support procedures.
- Coordinate with development, infrastructure and other cross-functional teams.
- Communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Coordinate software installation, configuration and other operational support activities as required.
Candidate Requirements
- 4+ years of relevant Mainframe Production Support experience.
- Strong hands-on knowledge of COBOL, JCL, VSAM and DB2.
- Experience in L2 support and production environment.
- Good troubleshooting and analytical skills.
- Experience with job monitoring, incident management and deployment processes.
- Knowledge of file management and SFTP processes.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively under production-support pressure and meet SLA requirements.
Pay: ₹1,000,000.00 - ₹2,500,000.00 per year
