Job Purpose The incumbent will be responsible for the planning, management, and continuous improvement of venue logistics operations at Jio World Centre / Jio world Convention Centre including event planning, service delivery, contractor management, revenue and operational controls, technology, and stakeholder coordination to ensure safe, effective, and commercially effective logistics operations.

Job Accountabilities

Stakeholder & Contractor Management

- Oversee day-to-day logistics, including vehicle movement, traffic, loading/unloading and dock operations
- Develop event-wise logistics and resource plans, covering manpower, equipment, docks and holding areas
- Conduct pre-event readiness and post-event reviews, identifying risks and corrective actions
- Manage material-handling services/equipment including forklifts, pallet trolleys, boom lifts, scissor lifts and labour
- Monitor vehicle TAT, resource utilisation and operational efficiency

Facility & Infrastructure Management
- Ensure operational readiness, upkeep and uptime of logistics infrastructure and equipment
- Coordinate with Engineering and Housekeeping for maintenance and facility requirements
- Ensure safety, statutory and compliance requirements are maintained

Technology & Process Improvement
- Manage and enhance the BLMS platform and other logistics systems
- Coordinate with IT teams and operators to resolve system issues and implement improvements
- Drive technology-led initiatives and process innovations to improve customer experience and operational efficiency

Commercial & Reporting
- Own revenue, billing and reconciliation, ensuring accurate and complete revenue capture




- Establish financial and operational controls and identify revenue leakages
- Review tariffs, commercial models and revenue enhancement opportunities
- Optimise manpower/equipment utilisation and cost vs. revenue
- Coordinate with Finance on billing, settlements and revenue sharing
- Prepare management MIS, event analytics and performance dashboards

Team Leadership
- Lead logistics teams, supervisors, operators, and third-party manpower
- Plan manpower deployment, shift scheduling, and resource allocation based on event requirements
- Drive team performance, training, and adherence to operational standards

Skills

- Strong understanding of commercial vehicles, logistics operations, vehicle capacities, and turnaround time management
- Proven experience in managing contractors, third-party manpower, and client-facing operations
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and leadership skills
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with technical teams, business users, and external partners
- Ability to work in a dynamic, event-driven environment and manage multiple stakeholders
- Proficiency in MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint; advanced Excel skills preferred

Qualifications
- MBA / Postgraduate qualification in Logistics, Supply Chain, Operations, Business Management, or a related discipline

Experience
- 8+ years of experience in logistics, event operations, warehousing, transportation, or facility management
- Proven experience in managing contractors, third-party manpower, and client-facing operations
- Experience in event logistics planning and large-scale venue operations preferred
