Role & responsibilities

- Coordinate the import of goods from international suppliers.

- Liaise with suppliers, freight forwarders, and customs agents to ensure timely delivery of shipments

- Track shipments and monitor their progress from origin to destination and complete the GRN in SAP

- Address any issues or delays that arise during the import process.

- Ensure compliance with all customs regulations and requirements

- Prepare and submit import documentation, including customs declarations and clearance documents

- Stay updated on changes to import regulations and communicate relevant information to the team.

- Update to Manager for any customs-related issues or discrepancies during the import process.

- Manage import documentation, including invoices, packing lists, and shipping documents.

- Maintain accurate records of import transactions and documentation for auditing purposes.





- Organize and archive import-related paperwork in accordance with company policies

- Work to minimize import-related costs, such as duties, taxes, and shipping fees.

- Identify opportunities to optimize import processes and reduce expenses.

- Collaborate with internal departments, such as purchasing and finance, to coordinate import activities.

- Communicate with external stakeholders, including suppliers, customs authorities, and transportation carriers, to ensure smooth import operations.

- Provide updates and reports on import activities to Manager as required.

- Floating Import RFQ to freight forwarder and making comparison and sending to manager for final approval.
