Job Summary We are looking for a Logistics Executive based in Coimbatore to support courier and logistics operations, shipment tracking, vendor coordination, courier cost monitoring, and MIS reporting.

The ideal candidate should be organized, analytical, good with MS Excel, and comfortable coordinating with courier/logistics vendors and internal teams. Freshers from Coimbatore with an interest in Logistics and Supply Chain Management are encouraged to apply.

Key Responsibilities

Courier & Shipment Management

- Track inbound and outbound courier shipments from the Coimbatore location.
- Coordinate with courier and logistics partners for timely dispatch and delivery.
- Follow up on delayed, missing, returned, or undelivered shipments.
- Maintain accurate shipment records and logistics documentation.
- Monitor shipment movement across different locations and delivery lanes.

Courier Cost Monitoring

- Track courier expenditure and shipment-wise costs.
- Maintain courier cost records using MS Excel.
- Verify courier bills and identify billing discrepancies.
- Analyse high-cost routes and unnecessary shipments.

Logistics Data & MIS

- Analyse shipment and courier data to identify cost-saving opportunities.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly logistics MIS reports.
- Track shipment volumes, courier expenditure, delivery performance, and vendor performance.
- Support monthly reporting of logistics cost savings.

Vendor Coordination

- Coordinate with multiple courier and logistics vendors operating in and around Coimbatore.
- Collect and compare courier rates and service details.
- Maintain vendor records and performance data.
- Support vendor evaluation based on cost, service quality, delivery timelines, and coverage.

Rate & SLA Support





- Assist senior team members in courier rate negotiations and contract reviews.
- Monitor agreed courier rates and service terms.
- Track vendor adherence to SLA and delivery timelines.
- Escalate delivery delays and service-related issues.

Cost Optimization

- Identify opportunities to consolidate shipments and reduce courier expenses.
- Support selection of economical dispatch modes based on urgency, distance, and shipment size.
- Identify practical ways to improve logistics efficiency and reduce unnecessary expenses.

Required Skills

Qualification
- Any Graduate
- Preferred: B.Com / BBA / BBM / Logistics / Supply Chain Management or equivalent

Experience 0–1 Year

Freshers from Coimbatore and nearby areas are encouraged to apply.
