- We are looking for a skilled and dedicated Lift Technician to install, maintain, troubleshoot, repair, and service elevators, escalators, moving walkways, and other vertical transportation systems. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring the safe, efficient, and reliable operation of equipment while following company standards, statutory requirements, and workplace safety procedures.

Role Purpose

- Install, test, commission, and service elevators and other vertical transportation systems.

- Diagnose and resolve electrical, mechanical, and electronic equipment faults.

- Perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance.

- Attend emergency breakdowns and restore equipment within the required turnaround time.

- Ensure compliance with applicable safety standards, statutory regulations, and company quality requirements.

- Maintain excellent service quality and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

Installation &

- Commissioning:

- Install elevators, escalators, moving walkways, and related equipment.

- Perform testing and commissioning of newly installed systems.

- Conduct functional and safety tests before equipment handover.

- Ensure installation activities are completed according to technical specifications and company standards.

- Coordinate with site engineers, supervisors, and project teams for timely completion.

Maintenance &

- Servicing

- Perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance of lift and elevator systems.

- Conduct routine inspections to identify potential equipment issues.

- Recommend and implement corrective actions before failures occur.

- Ensure equipment operates safely, efficiently, and reliably.

- Maintain equipment in accordance with maintenance schedules and service requirements.

Troubleshooting &





- Repairs

- Diagnose electrical, mechanical, and electronic faults in elevator systems.

- Troubleshoot controllers, motors, drives, brakes, door operators, sensors, switches, ropes, and control panels.

- Repair or replace defective components as required.

- Use appropriate testing instruments and diagnostic methods to identify faults.

- Verify proper operation after completing repairs.

Breakdown &

- Emergency Support

- Respond promptly to emergency breakdown and service calls.

- Diagnose faults and restore equipment to normal operation within the required turnaround time.

- Follow appropriate emergency and safety procedures during breakdown situations.

- Escalate complex technical issues to supervisors or relevant technical teams when required.

Safety &

- Regulatory Compliance

- Ensure elevators and related equipment comply with applicable statutory regulations and safety standards.

- Follow company safety procedures and quality requirements at all times.

- Use appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) during installation, maintenance, and repair activities.

- Ensure proper use of tools and testing instruments.

- Perform required safety and functional testing before equipment is returned to service.

- Report unsafe conditions, equipment hazards, or technical concerns immediately.

Documentation &

- Reporting





- Maintain accurate service reports and maintenance records.

- Complete inspection checklists and breakdown reports.

- Record repairs, component replacements, inspections, and maintenance activities.

- Ensure service documentation is completed accurately and submitted on time.

Customer &

- Team Coordination

- Coordinate effectively with customers regarding service and maintenance activities.

- Communicate technical issues and required corrective actions professionally.

- Work closely with site engineers, supervisors, project teams, and other technical personnel.

- Ensure installation and service activities are completed within agreed timelines.

- Maintain qualified customer relationships and support high levels of customer satisfaction.

Required Technical Skills

- Strong knowledge of elevator and lift systems.

- Knowledge of electrical, mechanical, and electronic components.

- Ability to troubleshoot and repair elevator equipment.

- Knowledge of controllers, motors, drives, brakes, sensors, door operators, and control panels.
