- Collect, receive, and properly label patient samples.
- Perform laboratory tests according to standard procedures.
- Handle blood, urine, and other clinical specimens safely.
- Operate and maintain laboratory equipment.
- Perform routine hematology, biochemistry, microbiology, and other diagnostic tests as required.
- Ensure accuracy and reliability of test results.
- Record and maintain laboratory reports and patient information.
- Follow quality control and quality assurance procedures.
- Maintain proper storage of samples, reagents, and laboratory supplies.
- Follow infection control,
biosafety, and laboratory safety protocols.
- Report equipment issues or abnormal test results to the appropriate supervisor.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the laboratory.
- Coordinate with doctors, nurses, and other healthcare professionals when required.
Candidate Requirements
- B.Sc. MLT / DMLT or equivalent qualification.
- Valid professional registration/license as applicable.
- Good knowledge of laboratory procedures and equipment.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Valuable communication and teamwork skills.
