Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Laboratory In-Charge to manage the day-to-day operations of the laboratory in a multispeciality hospital and supervise a team of 11 laboratory staff.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage daily laboratory operations and ensure timely reporting of investigations.
- Supervise, guide and allocate duties to the 11-member laboratory team.
- Prepare duty rosters and monitor attendance, discipline and performance.
- Ensure proper sample collection, processing, testing and reporting.
- Monitor laboratory quality, SOP compliance, safety and infection-control practices.
- Manage laboratory reagents, consumables and inventory.
- Coordinate equipment maintenance and resolve operational issues.
- Coordinate with doctors, nurses and other hospital departments.
- Maintain laboratory records,



reports and documentation.
- Support audits, quality improvement activities and hospital requirements.

Qualification & Experience
- B.Sc. / M.Sc. Microbiology from a recognized institution.
- 3–5 years of experience in a hospital/clinical laboratory.
- Previous experience in team handling or laboratory supervision preferred.
