Key Roles & Responsibility:

Vehicle Inspection & Basic Diagnosis

Assist in inspecting commercial vehicles and identify basic mechanical faults under the guidance of Senior Technicians.

Routine Service & Maintenance

Carry out scheduled vehicle servicing, lubrication, oil changes, filter replacement and other preventive maintenance activities.

Engine Service & Repair Support

Assist Senior Technicians in engine inspection, servicing, dismantling, assembly and replacement of mechanical components.

Clutch & Transmission Support

Assist in inspection, removal, installation and repair of clutch, gearbox and transmission components.

Brake, Steering & Suspension Maintenance

Inspect and assist in servicing and repair of braking, steering, suspension and wheel-related systems.

Mechanical Component Replacement

Remove and replace defective mechanical components as instructed by the Senior Technician or Workshop Supervisor.

Workshop Tools & Equipment

Use hand tools, workshop equipment and lifting equipment safely and correctly. Maintain tools in good working condition.

Support to Senior Technicians

Assist Senior Technicians during major repairs, troubleshooting, overhauling and complex mechanical jobs.

Quality & First-Time-Right Repairs

Follow proper repair procedures and ensure work is completed correctly to minimize repeat repairs.





Job Card & Work Documentation

Follow job card/Repair Order (RO) instructions and report completed work, additional defects and replaced parts to the concerned Senior Technician or Service Advisor.

Vehicle Testing & Final Inspection Support

Assist with vehicle testing and final inspection after repairs to ensure the vehicle is ready for delivery.

Safety & 5S Compliance

Follow workshop safety procedures, maintain cleanliness and ensure proper handling of tools, equipment, oils, lubricants and vehicle components.

Required Qualification: ITI – Mechanic Motor Vehicle (MMV) / Diesel Mechanic / Automobile Trade

Experience: 1–3 years of experience in Automobile / Commercial Vehicle Service Industry

Freshers: ITI candidates with relevant technical knowledge may also apply.

Preferred: Experience in Commercial Vehicle Dealerships or Service Centres
