Job DescriptionAs a Senior Developer, you will connect the Qualys Cloud Platform (vulnerability scanner) with the ServiceNow Vulnerability Response (VR) module. You will bridge security teams and IT operations to automate vulnerability detection, prioritisation, and remediation, ensuring seamless integration and workflow automation across the enterprise.

NIntegration Configuration

- Configure the Qualys Vulnerability Integration app (from the ServiceNow Store) to import vulnerability data, host detections, and risk classifications. N
nData Mapping & Normalisation

- Map Qualys assetsto the ServiceNow Configuration Management Database (CMDB) to reconcile and identify Configuration Items (CIs). N
- Set up and manage scheduled jobs to automate the flow of vulnerability findings from Qualys to ServiceNow. N
nWorkflow Automation

- Configure remediation assignment rules to automatically assign Vulnerable Items (VIs) to the appropriate IT owners. N
nTroubleshooting & Maintenance

- Monitor and resolve API limitations or data discrepancies in the integration, ensuring data integrity. N
nSupporting Modules

- Implement additional modules such as Qualys Container Security or Configuration Compliance (CSPM) to improve cloud security posture. N

- You have worked extensively with ServiceNow Vulnerability Response and CMDB modules. N
nTechnical Expertise

- You have robust knowledge of the Qualys VMDR (Vulnerability Management, Detection, and Response) platform. N
