Role Overview

We’re looking for a Junior Designer with 2–4 years of hands-on experience in commercial and residential interior and design execution. This is a great opportunity for someone ready to take ownership of design deliverables, collaborate with project teams, and contribute meaningfully to shaping high-performance workspaces.

Key Responsibilities:

Feasibility Studies:

· Conduct site assessments and analyse existing conditions to determine the feasibility of proposed office space designs.

· Evaluate space requirements, zoning regulations, and building codes to ensure compliance.

· Collaborate with architects, interior designers, and clients to identify potential challenges and propose effective solutions.

Space Planning & Layout Design:

· Develop detailed 2D drawings for commercial office spaces, including floor plans, furniture layouts, and equipment placement.

· Optimize space utilization to create functional, ergonomic,



and visually appealing office environments.

· Incorporate client-specific needs, such as collaborative workspaces, private offices, meeting rooms, and breakout areas.

Technical Drafting:

· Produce accurate and high-quality technical drawings using CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD).

· Prepare construction documents, including elevations, sections, and detailed drawings for permitting and construction.

· Update and revise drawings based on client feedback and project requirements.

Qualifications:

· Education: Associate degree or certification in Drafting, Architecture, Interior Design, or a related field.

· Experience: Minimum of 2-4 years of experience in drafting, with a focus on commercial office spaces or similar projects.

· Technical Skills: Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD).

· Knowledge: Robust understanding of zoning regulations, building codes, and space planning principles.

· Soft Skills: Excellent communication, problem-solving, and time-management skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

· Portfolio: A portfolio showcasing previous work in commercial office space design is required.
