Job Position - Junior HVAC Project Engineer
Job Location: Baner, Pune
Employment Type: Full time, On-site
Experience Required: 1 to 4 Years
Salary Range: ₹2.5–4.5 LPA (Negotiable based on experience)
Job Summary
We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Junior HVAC Project Engineer to support the execution of HVAC projects from site planning to project completion. The candidate will assist senior engineers in site execution, coordination, documentation, quality checks, and project reporting while gaining practical experience in HVAC project management.
Key Responsibilities
Project Execution
- Assist in the execution of HVAC projects as per approved drawings and specifications.
- Monitor daily site activities and report progress to the Senior Project Engineer.
- Coordinate with site supervisors, contractors, and vendors for smooth project execution.
- Support material planning and ensure timely availability of materials at the site.
- Maintain daily work progress reports and site records.
Technical Responsibilities
- Assist in reviewing HVAC drawings, BOQs, and technical documents.
- Supervise installation activities under the guidance of senior engineers.
- Support testing, commissioning, and handover of HVAC systems.
- Identify and report technical issues encountered during execution.
- Ensure work is carried out according to approved drawings and project specifications.
Quality Assurance
- Conduct routine quality inspections at project sites.
- Ensure workmanship complies with company quality standards.
- Assist in snag list preparation and rectification activities.
Safety & Compliance
- Follow all company safety policies and statutory regulations.
- Ensure workers use appropriate PPE and follow safe work practices.
- Report unsafe conditions and support implementation of corrective actions.
Documentation
- Maintain site records including DPRs, inspection reports, material records, and MOMs.
- Assist in preparing measurement sheets and project documentation.
- Maintain records of testing and commissioning activities.
Client & Team Coordination
- Coordinate with internal teams, contractors, and vendors.
- Attend project meetings with senior engineers.
- Maintain professional communication with clients and consultants when required.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.
- HVAC certification will be an added advantage.
Experience
- 1–3 years of experience in HVAC project execution or site engineering.
- Freshers with internship or project experience in HVAC may also apply.
Technical Skills
- Basic knowledge of HVAC systems including:
- Chilled Water Systems
- VRF/VRV Systems
- DX Systems
- AHUs, FCUs, Chillers
- Ventilation & Exhaust Systems
- Ducting & Piping Works
- Ability to read engineering drawings.
- Basic knowledge of IS Codes and HVAC standards.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and MS Office.
- Knowledge of Revit MEP or MS Project will be an added advantage.
