Job Title: Junior HVAC Design & Estimation Engineer

Salary Range: ₹2.4–5 LPA (Negotiable based on skills and experience)

Role Overview

We are looking for a Junior HVAC Design & Estimation Engineer who is passionate about HVAC design and eager to build a career in the MEP industry. The ideal candidate will assist in preparing HVAC designs, BOQs, estimations, and technical documentation while working closely with senior engineers throughout the project lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities1. HVAC Design Support

- Assist in designing HVAC systems for residential, commercial, and industrial projects.
- Prepare duct layouts, piping layouts, ventilation drawings (Fresh Air & Exhaust), and equipment layouts using AutoCAD.
- Support heat load calculations using HAP or equivalent software under the guidance of senior engineers.
- Prepare shop drawings, schematic diagrams, and HVAC layout revisions.
- Coordinate with architectural and MEP drawings to avoid clashes.

2. Estimation & BOQ Preparation

- Prepare Bills of Quantities (BOQs) and quantity take-offs from drawings.
- Assist in preparing project cost estimates and quotations.
- Collect vendor quotations and compare prices for HVAC equipment and materials.
- Support tender documentation and technical submissions.
- Maintain estimation records and project documentation.

3. Site Coordination & Technical Support

- Visit project sites for measurements, inspections, and progress monitoring.




- Assist in verifying HVAC installations as per approved drawings.
- Coordinate with project execution teams for drawing clarifications.
- Report design changes and site observations to senior engineers.
- Support commissioning and testing activities when required.

RequirementsEducation

- B.E./B.Tech or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.

Experience

- 0–2 years in HVAC Design, Estimation, MEP Consultancy, or HVAC Contracting.
- Freshers with relevant internships or project experience are welcome.

Software Skills

- AutoCAD
- MS Excel
- Basic knowledge of HAP (preferred)
- Basic knowledge of Revit/BIM (preferred)

Technical Knowledge

- Basic understanding of HVAC systems such as VRF/VRV, Split AC, AHU, Ventilation Systems, and Chilled Water Systems.
- Familiarity with duct sizing, air distribution, and equipment selection.
- Knowledge of ASHRAE, IS Codes, or SMACNA standards is an added advantage.
