We are looking for a Junior Design Engineer with 6 months to 3 years of experience in the mechanical engineering domain. The ideal candidate should have practical knowledge of PTC Creo Parametric and an interest in mechanical design, product development, manufacturing, quality, or production engineering.

Candidates currently working in Design, Production, Quality, Manufacturing, CAD, Tool Development, or other related mechanical engineering departments are encouraged to apply.

Key Responsibilities

- Create, modify, and manage 3D mechanical models using Creo Parametric
- Develop and modify Part, Assembly, Sheet Metal, and 2D Drafting/Detailing drawings
- Perform CAD conversion/migration from other CAD software to Creo Parametric
- Perform CAD model remastering and recreate/modify existing models in Creo Parametric
- Convert 2D drawings into 3D CAD models
- Interpret engineering and industrial drawings
- Prepare and understand Assembly, GA, Fabrication, Installation, and Machine Layout drawings
- Apply basic GD&T; and engineering drawing standards
- Support product development and design modifications
- Coordinate with Production, Quality, Manufacturing, and other engineering departments
- Understand manufacturing requirements and apply Design for Manufacturing (DFM) principles
- Assist in reverse engineering and recreation of CAD models
- Support design documentation, drawing revisions, and engineering records
- Work on real-time engineering projects and provide design solutions as required

Required Skills

Must Have:

- Working knowledge of PTC Creo Parametric or any CAD software.
- Drafting & Detailing
- GD&T; (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing)
- Engineering Drawing Interpretation
- Good understanding of basic mechanical engineering concepts




- Ability to read and understand manufacturing drawings
- Willingness to learn and work on industrial projects

Valuable to Have:

- Experience in CAD conversion/migration from other software to Creo Parametric
- Experience in CAD model remastering
- Experience in Production / Quality / Manufacturing / Mechanical Design
- Knowledge of Design for Manufacturing (DFM)
- Exposure to fabrication or machinery design
- Experience with 2D-to-3D conversion
- Knowledge of product development processes
- Good communication and documentation skills
