Junior 3D Designer – Events & Exhibitions

About the Role

Planning Labs is looking for a Junior 3D Designer with a strong interest in Events, Exhibitions, Brand Activations and Experiential Design.

The candidate will work closely with our senior designers, client servicing and production teams to develop creative, visually impactful and practically executable 3D concepts.

Key Responsibilities

- Create 3D designs for exhibition stalls, event stages, brand activations, kiosks, installations and experiential spaces
- Convert client briefs into creative concepts and layouts
- Develop realistic 3D renders for client presentations
- Work on space planning, branding placement, product displays, reception areas, meeting zones, storage and LED integrations
- Make revisions based on internal and client feedback
- Support senior designers on large-format projects
- Coordinate with production teams to ensure designs are executable on-ground
- Understand materials, finishes, fabrication possibilities and basic production requirements
- Work on multiple projects while meeting timelines and deadlines
- Prepare different design views and presentation-ready visuals

Required Software Skills

Strong working knowledge of

- 3ds Max / SketchUp
- V-Ray / Corona
- AutoCAD
- Photoshop

Knowledge of Lumion, Illustrator or other rendering/design software will be an added advantage.





Candidate Profile

- 0–2 years of experience in 3D Design
- Qualification in Interior Design, Architecture, Exhibition Design, 3D Visualization or a related field
- Robust understanding of space, scale, proportion and aesthetics
- Good visualization and rendering skills
- Ability to understand client briefs quickly
- Attention to detail and willingness to learn
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced events environment
- Ability to handle feedback and revisions positively

Preferred Experience Experience or portfolio involving any of the following will be preferred:
- Exhibition Stalls
- Corporate Events
- Stage Designs
- Retail / Brand Activations
- Experiential Installations
- Event Environments

Pay: ₹12,066.73 - ₹25,000.00 per month
