Position Summary
The Product Manager will be responsible for developing and driving the growth of customized interface solutions comprising interface cables, system cabling solutions, PLC/DCS interface boards, marshalling solutions, and customer-specific connectivity products for industrial automation applications.
The role will act as the central interface between customers, sales teams, engineering, manufacturing, and global product management to identify market opportunities and translate customer requirements into scalable and profitable solutions.
The position requires robust understanding of industrial automation architectures, control systems, PLC/DCS environments, panel building practices, and industrial connectivity technologies.
The Product Manager will be responsible for the complete product lifecycle, including market analysis, portfolio development, business planning, , commercialization, solution positioning, and profitability management.





Key Responsibilities
Product Portfolio Management
• Manage the complete lifecycle of customized interface cable and interface board solutions.
• Define and execute product roadmap aligned with market requirements and Phoenix Contact's Interface product strategy.
• Drive portfolio expansion for:
o System cabling solutions
o Marshalling interface boards
o Relay interface modules
o Customized cable assemblies
o Customer-specific interface solutions
• Identify product gaps and lead localization opportunities for the Indian market.
Market Development & Business Growth
• Develop growth strategies for Interface Solutions business across key verticals.
• Identify new business opportunities in:
o Process Automation
o Factory Automation
o Oil & Gas
o Power & Utilities
o Water & Wastewater
o Metals & Mining
o Chemicals
o Food & Beverage
o Infrastructure
• Conduct market sizing, compe
